A real estate investing strategy wherein one party, the wholesaler, places a property under contract for attractive terms and then assigns that contract to another party who either assigns the contract again or transacts the deal. Usually wholesalers market to other investors and there are certain types of contract that make wholesaling easier as well as those that prohibit it completely.
