Greg Rand, Renters Warehouse, is on air with Abhi and they have plenty to share with you on this episode! Greg wants to share with you a “lift” city just west of Charlotte called Gastonia and also a city on the way to Gastonia is Belmont. Greg found two great properties for sale and he was under contract and backed out, and he wants to share his reason why. It is a decision that could help you in the future!
Greg wants to share something “funny” he read this morning. He says the bad information out there is quite comical but he wants to keep you informed. He read, “Feds could double interest rates.” The headline was misleading because what they meant to say was, the feds could raise the rates two times.
One of our listener’s, Cameron from Pennsylvania, has a question for Greg. He wants to know if he invested in a mentor or “guru” when he was first starting out. He and Abhi joke about how there are so many, “get rich by giving us all your money” schemes. Greg says that finding a mentor is something so different and you should find someone you trust and aspire to be in 10 years.
Greg and Abhi wrap-up the show with two more listener questions. Chad from Texas wants to know how REI fits into the Dave Ramsey philosophy of “cash only” investing. Our final question has to do with negotiations and how to become an effective negotiator.
