The folks at RealtyTrac have come up with a fun list of the best places to invest in real estate if you would like to own investment property where you ski.
So if you are thinking of investing in your favorite mountain town, here are some stats they put together you may want to review. These are properties than can be rented out weekly, monthly or seasonally and sometimes bring in enough cash flow to cover the cost of ownership, plus giving you a place to stay. As always, do your due diligence and look at the real numbers before investing.
RealtyTrac Vice President Daren Bloomquist said in his article that RealtyTrac sifted through housing and economic data for resort towns with some of the nation’s top ski resorts — as defined by extensive data analysis by Zrankings — to come up with a list of top ski resort towns for real estate investing.
