Engelo Rumora blog on 3 top Facebook groups for real estate investorsWhen Gary Vaynerchuk, author and CEO of Vaynermedia, a social media marketing agency, started his journey as an entrepreneur he found a very successful way of building his brand and establishing genuine business relationships.

His secret was keeping very active across all social media platforms. He would literally spend day and night personally replying and communicating with everyone.

That being said, I don’t remember a day over the past three years that I haven’t spent at least 30 to 45 minutes sharing, posting, liking anything and everything real estate related across all social media platforms. I make a point to always respond to every comment I receive and offer my knowledge when it suits.

I have a select few Facebook real estate groups that I have joined and contribute to on a weekly basis.

No. 1 – Wholesaling houses full time

This particular group has stood out to me among all the others because it is the one group were I have received the most feedback.

Anytime I or another investor have a question related to real estate—many people jump to assist with their knowledge and experience. This group is a great way to network with fellow investors and a good source if you are looking for potential joint ventures.

No. 2 — Facebook real estate investors

This group has a significant amount of members – over 10,000 as a matter of fact. Because this group has such a large audience, it enables you to connect and network with a wide variety of real estate personnel such as wholesalers, agents, hard money lenders and people who have not yet invested but are looking to make that first step. This group is also very useful if you are looking to promote your company, brand and services you provide.

No. 3 — For rent in Toledo

You can probably guess the benefit an investor gets from this group. This group provides a very direct and specific purpose. It connects landlords with tenants. This is the group that I use to find potential tenants. It allows me to see the personal profiles of people I may or may not decide to rent my property to. I know this particular group specifies “Toledo” –which is where most of my investments are based. But there are groups like this one everywhere.  And if you can’t find one in your area, make one and people will find you.

These individual groups have helped me in many ways grow my business, establish relationships and nourish my knowledge and passion in real estate.
